TOVA — prototipo impreso en 3D con tierra

The first 3D-printed raw earth building in Spain, built in 2022 at Valldaura Labs (Collserola, Barcelona) by the IAAC's 3dPA programme. A crane-type printer deposited earth from the site itself layer by layer, with practically zero waste and the possibility of returning the material to the ground at the end of its service life. The prototype explores how robotics can make earth construction cheaper and faster, one of the materials with the lowest carbon footprint available.
